You Always Remember Your First
This project began in late 2013. It was my first time designing an app so there was a lot to learn along the way. Most of these designs are first drafts.
Looking back on it I see a lot of mistakes, but also some ideas that are in use today elsewhere. There was a lot of ideas to pack in and I was also doing UI/UX with no real experience in that area.
But Slick Doesn't Sell
I designed a lot of pitch decks and marketing while programming continued to fall behind. Too much was spent on portraying this image of a fully realized company & app than actually making it one.
Copy of Too Many Cooks
Lack of actual software engineers and "designed by committee" decisions doomed this before it got out of beta. Too much was being crammed into the MVP so focus on usability was spread thin.
